Crypticon Seattle ’22

I have an Artist’s Alley booth at Crypticon ’22! I’ll be running the booth with the help of my good friend Sabrina Friday May 20th, Saturday May 21st, and Sunday the 22nd. Sabrina and I started working together on Penny Palabras, and she’s since been a Producer as well as Assistant Director on Roscoe the Junkyard Cat and Enter the Mind Dungeon, Sabrina is one of my favorite people, and pretty much the best “booth babe” anyone could ever ask for. Here’s a bit of what we’ll have going on at this year’s Crypticon –

ENTER THE MIND DUNGEON

GenCon 2021’s BEST GAMER FILM is screening at Crypticon Seattle, Saturday May 21st between 7 and 8 pm in a short film block. This short film was our “proof of concept” to raise funds to make a feature film back before the COVID times. A day pass for Crypticon is $35 in advance, and it is some of the most fun you’ll ever have at a con! Come watch Enter the Mind Dungeon with us!

COMIC BOOKS!

I’ll have copies of HELLBOUND SLANT 6 for sale! Issues #1, #2, #3, standard and deluxe versions, plus copies of Aithen Dodge’s story The DEVIL’S DAUGHTER! Come chat it up with me, and buy a couple of books, I’ll sign ’em for ya!

DVD’s!!!

Wait, what’s a “DVD???” I know. Both of these movies are streaming for free on the Fantasy Network, but you can get your own DVD copy o Dead Drift or Penny Palabras. I have a few copies left of each for sale!

ORIGINAL ART

I’ve got drawings and stuff for sale! You can have a one-of-a-kind piece of artwork, drawn by me. Most of it is pop-culture themed, lots of Xenomorph stuff, some comic book, and video game inspired stuff too. You’re welcome to drop by the booth and look through the portfolio. I’m happy to talk about art, comics, movies, music, alcoholism, or whatever!

PRINTS

I’ve got prints! I frequently work digitally these days, so you can’t really own an “original” of something created that way, but I do have prints of a lot of digital pieces, and I’m happy to sign anything you can’t live without!

Crypticon is my favorite con! Even more than comic book focused cons, Crypitcon is the most fun of any of them. The horror vibe is inclusive and welcoming while acknowledging and embracing the dark side within all of us. When we let the darkness out to play in safe places where we agree to protect and take care of each other, we can have shitloads of fun. Or something. I don’t know.

Maybe I’m just a rambling old dude, but I think Crypticon is a blast and I hope to see you there!

I'm a geek who likes to make stuff, writing, drawing, movies, woodworking, and I like to think I'm pretty evolved for a carnivorous primate.
