Mercenary Daegon Thurgaard has known for years that his death in battle will save the world. But when facing his final moments fighting against barbarian invaders – he runs. 

A dark moon with a one thousand year elliptical orbit approaches, giving Duke Attis Vandelion power over death itself. He wants to lock the moon in orbit around their world, where it will power his unholy magic forever. The key to his plan is an artifact stolen by Daegon Thurgaard.

Their tangled paths will bring them face to face, warrior and necromancer, pitted against each other in this dialectic fantasy of the fire and vibrance of youth versus the slow decay of entropy and aging. 

Leading up to the launch I scrambled to put together a “book trailer.” It took the form of me reading the prologue, drawing some pics, downloading some stock videos, and doing a VERY limited animation piece. I think it’s pretty cool!
